Good to know
Which old iPhone works?
Any iPhone XS, iPhone XR or newer running iOS 17 or later. That covers most iPhones sitting in drawers today. Your everyday phone (the one you watch from) needs iOS 17 or later too.
Does it drain the battery or get hot?
Keep the camera phone plugged in — it is meant to live on a shelf like a small camera. ZoomieCam dims the screen while it watches, and if the phone gets warm it lowers the video quality on its own so it can keep going safely.
Is it private?
Yes. There is no account, no name and no email. Your videos are kept on our own servers, never sold, and there are no ad trackers or analytics tools inside the app. You can delete everything in one tap in Settings.
Do I need an account?
No. Just install the app on both phones and scan the code. Nothing to sign up for, no password to remember.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan includes live view, talk back, smart alerts and a daily reel. ZoomieCam Pro is optional and adds HD reels without a watermark, longer history, more cameras and family viewing.
Can my family watch too?
Yes. With ZoomieCam Pro you can invite up to 5 people to watch your pet. They just open your invite link on their iPhone.
